TAIHAPE BOY SCOUTS.
On Thursday, December 26, the Taihapo troop of Boy Scouts will commence a ten-days' camp at Turangaretc. As there may be a difficulty about tents probably residents of Taihape, who have them, would be willing to lend them for the period of tie camp; also any article for use in the cam i ) would be acceptable. The Scoutmaster will beat the club room, Fire Brigade Hall, on Monday, from 7.15 to 9 p.m., to meet any person who is willing to as,isv. ami to receive offers of touts or camp requirements*. The scout movement has proved to be one of the greatest advantage in trainin"- our lads, giving them that instructive encouragement to hoe;, eu thtf highway to a successful and honourable citizenship. It is therefore hoped that parents and others will heartily; respond to the request above made.
