Al] bookmakers think that. The Minister was "almost convinced," and suggested that perhaps the best thing would be to stop racecourse betting altogether. The rates on parcels for New Zealand soldiers and nurses on active senvice in England, Egypt, Flanders,. France, and Mesopotamia are as toll lows: Not exceeding 31b, Is; not exceeding 71b, 2s; not exceeding 111 b, 3s. These rates also apply to parcels addressed to New Zealand -sailors on board the Philomel -cr any other wanships manned by Now Zealand crews.
