PERILOUS SITUATION, i VENIZELOS URGES ACTION. LONDON, Dee. G. , M. Vonizelos, in a message to Ids , friends in London, urges the Allies to i act immediately, in view of the perili ous nature of the situation. DASTARDLY OUTRAGES. THE HUNS OUT-HUNNED. Received 10.10 LONDON, Dec. 7. Information has been received of a dastardly attack on the septuagenarian Mayor of Athens. His house was fired on from the residence of Prince Ypsilanti,. Master of the King’s Horse. The Princess, who is a Hungarian, was seen encouraging the soldiers. The house was broken into, and the Mayor spat upon, wounded with a bayonet, beaten with rifle butts, and Ids beard partly torn off; he was then dragged into the street. The Princess stood at the window clapping her hands. The Mayor was taken off for examination. Shocking accounts arc to hand of the i condition and treatment of General Corakas, who is described as resembling a corpse. LATEST NEWS FROM ATHENS. LONDON, Dec 6. The Foreign Office states that Press messages regarding Greece are misleading, inasmuch as the Royalists have regained control of the cable and Press censorships. Allied Press correspondents at Athens are threatened with personal violence, as are all others suspected of Venizolist leanings. There is reason to believe the Royalist forces in the mob were guilty of very grave acts of violence. A wireless from Home states that advices from Athens show that Dousmanis, Matallas, and other Germauophiles, have not been recalled, and that Constantine has ordered the disarmament of civilians. Greek navigation has been stopped completely, and communication with the islands is interrupted. Arrests of Venezelis.ts and domiciliary searches continue. Liberal newspapers are. not being published. The Royalists have erected barricades in the streets.
