There was a good muster of mem-

Mrs. Neagle kindly provided after-; noon tea, which was much appreciated by all present.
Wrig’atson and Evans, who some time ago challenged any other “pair” in the Club to a game of 16 heads, yesterday sustained two challenges, beating James Drayton (19 —10), and Varnam and McKenzie (21—13).
McLaren and Mitchell beat Shanley and Riddick i s 18—12); James, De Luen McLaughlan, beat Drayton, Mercer, Jones (30 —23); Boyd and Wham beat Neagle and Aldridge (31 —13). It is the intention of the match committee to arrange a progressive pairs’ competition for next Thursday afternoon. Every member who is on the green at 2.30 p.m. sharp will be includ ed in the draw, and a keen contest should result. New members and visitors are always very welcome, and one and all can always be sure of a good game.
