A TRENCH "AGONY."
The following appears in the Agony Column of "Le Canard Poilu," a French trench paper: "Lost on Sunday last at the Cafe Riche, in Paris, by a soldier on leave, a flea of medium build, dark chestnut colour, wearing round his neck a little aluminium collar, on which is printed the name of his owner. ■ Anyone returning l|his faithful insect—which is a remarkable specimen and which answers to the name of Bijou—to Polyte Jujubier, bomber in of infantry, Section N, Trench A, Dug-out F, will be rewarded with a tin of bulTy beef.''
