DARCY'S DISAPPEARANCE
GONE TO AMERICA. SYDNEY, this day. Recently, on the eve of attaining' military age, the champion boxer Les Darcy disappeared, and has sincebeen missing. ' Yesterday, amongst the luggage of a passenger departing by the American steamer, two letters were found addressed to Darcy, one bearing the pencilled signature of a well-known Sydney sportsman. The passenger and his luggage were taken ashore, an<j proceedings be taken under the War Precautions Act.
