SOME IMPORTANT ARRANGEMENTS. | Tbc shortages for the 23rd and 21th drafts will be assessed on Nov 13, and a ballot will be taken during the ensuing week for the numbers required to complete the drafts. Voluntary enlistments for those two drafts must cease at midnight, Monday, November 13, but thereafter,, and until December 9 voluntary enlistments for the 25th or 2Gth drafts may be taken. Any man who volunteers for, the 25th or 2(ith drafts after Monday 13th November, and by the time the ballot for these drafts closes, will, if ho be drawn in the ballot, be treated as if he had not enlisted. The Adjutant-General has ruled that soldiers who have boon discharged from training camps on account of medical unfitness, or have been honourably discharged therefrom, may be re-enlisted without reference to Base Records. It is, however, necessary that a statement of the circumstances concerning such discharge should be attached to the man’s papers and forwarded with him to camp. Doubtful cases should .be forwarded to the Adjutant for decision.
