WOMEN'S WORKING CLUB.
MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting bf the Taihape Women’s Working Club Com-' mittee was held in the Club’s newrooms, when the following members were present: Mrs. Shute (chair), IVIr. Minifie, Mesdames Miller, Turnbull, McLennan, Knox, McAuliffe, and Miss McAuliffe (hon. sec.). The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. accounts amounting to £4O 17s sd, were passed for payment.. The following new members were added to the committee: Mesdames Marsh, De Lacey, Hensen, Bertenshaw. The following members were added to the Club: Mesdames J. G. Collins, Taoroa; Law, Taoroa. Fees to the amount of £8 11s 6d were received. There were 58 parcels posted to the Boys at the Front during October. The following garments were made up during the month: 79 undershirts* 2 pairs socks, 1 Balaclava, 35 holdalls. DONATIONS ACKNOWLEDGE®. Donations per Mrs. Arthur, Hihitahi: Mrs. A. Sutherland, 10s, Mrs. Den nis ss, Mrs. Bankcart ss, A. Gartner ss, D. Twiddale ss, W. Christie ss. Donations for Smoke Fund: Mrs. Smith. 7s, Mrs. Knox 3/6. Donations sale of dog, (per Mrs. Shute). The following £1 each: Mr. W. Winiata, Mr. W. Dixon (Ruanui), Mr. J. McColl, Mr. Fannin, Mrs. Foster (Ruanui), Messrs A. Moghan, F. Muir (Kaweka Road), R. Broderick (Koeke), J.
