DESPAIR IN GERMANY.

News frcm Munich states that during one week there were, owing to the misery of starvation, 118 suicides, the majority of whom were women, in Germany. One mother, accompanied by three young children, shot herself before the gates of the Royal Palace of Munich, and in the presence of the sentries. A placard found pinned to her breast stated: "Your Majesty, fee a my children, I cannot." Parents are abandoning children in the parks in increasing numbers.
