BOLD BOY'S CAREER.
The extraordinary career of a noy adventurer was described at West-' minster Police Court the other day. Aged only 16 years and two months, he ran away from school and enlisted in the Field Artillery, making a false declaration as to age. He deserted twice, and joined other regiments. Last July he was charged at Bow Street with robbery, and when handed over to\ military escort -he escaped. Making tne acquaintance at Brixton of a sapper who had an officer brother, he stole the latter's uniform from lodgings. Then, ,having dressed -himself in it, this impostor of 16 stayed at the officers' hut in Grosvcnor Place and sauntered about Victoria, receiving salutes. He was also (it was said) wanted for cycle thefts. The military authorities did not want him back, on account of his age. The boy was remanded in custody.
