GREAT CLEARING SALE.

ESTATE OF H. H. GOWDY. t Messrs Dalgety and Co., in Conjunction with' the Loan and Mercantile Co., Ltd., have been instructed to sell, on. Friday November 10, at Pine Grove, Ruanui, the whole of the stock, plant and furniture in the estate of the late Mr H. H. Gowdy, including over 1000 ewes with lambs at foot (in the wool), and many other desirable sheep lines; also breeding cows with calves,, threeyear bullocks and other cattle. The plant includes Wolseley engine, wool press, saw bench, ploughs, harrows, and the usual farm implements; also double buggy and harness and other farm requisites too numerous to mention. ‘A drag will leave Taihape at eigdit o’clock on the morning of the sale, and luncheon will be provided on the farm. Through no fault of the auctioneers this notification should have appeared in yesterday's issue, the omission b£ing due entirely to an oversight in this office. It is a clearing sale of more than ordinary importance, and most farmers and those wanting turee excellent van horses will doubtless decide that it is in their best interests to be present.
