"EVERYBODY'S" PICTURES

To-night at Everybody’s Pictures a new programme, headed by “Across the Desert,” a World film in five acts, will he screened. The star, which is a very exciting picture, is supportec by “The Black Pearl,” depicting a daring conspiracy cleverly foiled, and also by a first rate comedy “Knight of Her Dreams.” A very interesting scenic, “The Park of Caserta,” showing a favourite country residence of the Italian Royal family, will also be screened. To-morrow there will be an entire change of programme, when the company will show “With the Dardanelles Expedition,” a film which was photographed by Ashmead Bartlett, the famous war correspondent. This is a great attraction, and there should be record houses at each screening. The historic landing at Suvla Bay, repelling a Turkish attack, and views of the shattered forts will be shown. The deeds of the Anzacs will be written in the history of the world, and all should make a point of seeing the picture. In the afternoon a special matinee, commencing at 2.30 p.m., will be held, and arrangements have been made for the schools to close earlier than usual so that all the children will have the opportunity of seeing this great attraction on account of its educational and historical value.
