Taken by the War Office with the object of preserving for posterity a record of the glorious offensive, the hour of which we and our Allies have so long awaited, these films lia%e the same "official backing" as "Britain Prepared." No higher guarantee than this need or could be given. By direction of the Secretary for War, Mr. Lloyd George, these pictures were screened in 40 London cii emas simultaneously, and hundreds of copies were sent all over Englar d, causing sensational excitement, and arousing intense patriotic enthusiasm everywhere.
