A SOLICITOR IN TROUBLE.
ALLEGED MISAPPROPRIATION CHRISTCHURCH, Oct, 31. This afternoon, at the S.M. Court, before Mr Bishop, S.M., George Berry Ritchie, solicitor, of Christehurch, was brought up on a charge of converting trust funds to his own use, viz., a sum <»f £3.38 16s 81, part of the trust created under the will of Dielrich Kruse, who died in 1905. The Chief Detective stated that there were other charges pending, and it was expected that the deficiency would reach the sum of £3OO. Accused was remanded and almitted to hail, himself in £SOO, and two sureties of £250 each.
