Received 11.25. SALONIKA, Oct 31. Greek troops attacked a battalion of Venezelist soldiers from Katerini, many being wounded. The Venezelists cut .their way through and reached Salonika. NOW A GERMAN. ) The Berliner Tageblatt announces that Houston Stewart Chamberlain has now been naturalised a" German. His application was supported by the Bayreuth Town Council. Chamberlain has lived at Bayreuth since the outbreak of war. He is 60 years of age, and the son the late Rear Admiral W. C. Chamberlain, a circumstance which gives an additional touch of irony to his apostacy,' welcome Hhoug-h it will be to all patriotic Britons. In 1908 he married Richard Wagner's daughter. Eva. Herr Chamberlain has lived for over 30 years in Germany, and since the war broke out, although quite unknown before, he quickly became not orious as one of the most strident ad vocates of Pan-Germanism and a slav ish defender of his adopted country's most barbarous and shameless acts of brigandage.
