A specialeentral authority, to be called the War Usury Office, has been created in Germany for the purpose of suppressing usury and other illegal methods, such as exceeding maximum prices and excessive raising of the price of foodstuffs. ’A Palmerston soldier writes to the ’ that the Salisbury Camp is 30 by 30 miles, and contains more than the entire population of New Zealand.
