RECRUITING.
This morning Staff Sergeant-Major Tuckey received the following telegram:—“Shortage for group fifty infantry. Make every endeavour to complete. Send as many men as possible. One batch Wednesday, October 25.” Any men who have been attested for the 23hr Reinforcements, and are able to go into camp on Wednesday, should immediately advise SergantMajov Tuckey. The case is an urgent one, and it is to be hoped that the response will be a good one. The men will leave Taihape by 10.10 train on Tuesday morning.
