AMUSEMENTS.
EVERYBODY’S. Those wlio saw the new programme at the Town Hall last night had a real feast of entertainment. “The Path of Happiness,” the star piece, is a particularly brilliant motion drama, and Miss Violet Morsereau is a charming actress. The film is certainly a triumph of photography, every phase of every situation being beautifully clear and brilliantly lighted. The audience was a fair one, but its appreciation showed the real enjoyment the picture gave. The child-like acting of Miss Mersereau quite took the audience by storm, and it undoubtedly was all that any audience could wish for. The supporting programme was exceptionally good. “The Path of Happiness” is to be repeated to-night, arid those who missed it last night should make a point of being present. A very fine picture feast is promised for Saturday night.
