NEW DRILL. FOR NEjW ZEALAND CADETS. WELLINGTON, this day. Important changes are being introduced in the training of New Zealand’s territorial army with a view to obtaining increased efficiency. It is a most far-reaching decision and applies to senior cadets. An entirely new syllabus is adopted which spreads over the four years they are senior cadets, and provides for their being put through the same number of drills as a recruit in the regular British Army during six months’ continuous training.
