Farmers attending to-day 's stock sale state that the percentage of lambs is remarkably good, and above what was expected. In some districts the percentage was affected by cold, snaps, in others many of the finest lambs died by sudden collapse from over-nutrition. The general average is considerably •over 100 per cent.
