LOST HALF HIS BAG.

That sergeant of a Yorkshire regiment who lost half his bag of fourteen and-twenty prisoners from the fourth row r of German trenches from enemy barrage fire at Frieourt, and reported,| with regret that had not been able to bring more than twelve, was something of a humorist.
