The following is a copy of a letter read at the annual meeting of the Rangitikei A. and P. Association on Saturday:—“l am directed by the !y. Z. Council of Agriculture in conference, held on July 11th and 12th, to ask your Assocation to take steps to give effect to the following resolution: ‘That the A. and P. Association and other associations of the Dominion be asked to start and vigorously promote, the movement for collecting funds for the settlement on the land of ruined Belgian farmers.’” On the motion of Mr. Joblin it was resolved that the letter be received and the meeting express its sympathy with the movement. ......... -i.i., .
