OFFERING TO “SHOUT.”
FIRST CASE IN COURT. FINED FIVE POUNDS. TAURANGA, this day. Before Mr. R. Dyer, S.M., this morning a man was fined five pounds for offering to treat another man. The (Magistrate remarked that the next case of the kind that came before him would be punished with, the utmost severity. He also remarked that he understood this Avas the first case of the kind that had come before a magistrate in the Dominion.
