HOSPITAL BOARD.

. MONTHLY MEETING. The Wanganui Hospital Board met on Wednesday. Present —Messrs T. H. Battle (chairman), Sveuson, Bassett, Goldfinch, Hine, Dr Skerman, Ripssell, McGregor, Lethbridge, Fletcher, Smith, Bennett, and Mcsdames Comyns and Siddells. In connection with the accommodation of infectious diseases at the Taihape Hospital, it was decided that the chairman and Div Skerman should confer with the architect in regard to the plans for an extension. It was resolved to advise Mr J. Forman, of Ohakune, that the Board had no power at the present time to lease the hospital reserve at Ohakune. Air Smith reported on tenders received for screening the verandahs at (he. Taihape Hospital, and the matter was referred to the architect. The returning officer of the Gonville Town Board wrote notifying the (lection of Mr N. P. Svenson. Airs Comyns and Air AlcGrcgor were appointed a visiting committee for the month It was decided to thank the Beautifying Society for a gift of 100 trees for the Wanganui Hospital grounds.
