The figures.for the. fiscal year 1916 were I,339,ooo,ooft'pounds weight, as compared with :B>3, 000,000 last year and 445,000,000 in--1914. f An official report says that Canada's exports of meat have increased by I've times since the war begat!; there are also gjreat increases in Argentine and Australian exports. The exports of refined sugar for 7 months in 1916 were more r.han a billion pounds, valued at sixty million dollars. The figures exceed the aggregate of the previous 25 years.
