LONDON WOOL SALE.

Dalgety and Company Limited beg to report having received the following cablegram from their London House under date of sth instant:—‘‘The wool sales have opened. There was a good attendance of buyers, and competition was fair. The selection was an in-, different one. As compared with the closing rates of last series merinos were unchanged. Best coarse crossbreds advanced 5 per cent to 71 per cent, other sorts and slipcs were par to 5 per cent dearer.”
