PEARY’S MISTAKE.
—♦ ■ A MYTHICAL CROCKERLAND. (Received 10.) NEW YORK, Sept. 5. Ensign Green has arrived and confirmed his previous report in the belief of the non-existence of Crockerlaiid, says Peary made observations at a point 130 miles from the Greenland coast. Macmillan Green travelled 150 miles of observations in clear weather, and is convinced that what Peary saw was Mirage.
