RED CROSS NOTES.

A very few were thoughtful enough, or eared enough to attend the Red Cross meeting. Tliere were two men and five ladies present, ond after a short discussion they adjourned. We will give our money but don't ask us for any of our time or labour. We want that for j.leasure. One lady, who cannot afford monetary support to the Red Cross, makes up for It by scrubbing out the shop every week Talk about the widow's mite; this it it. Russia is appealing for bondages fop her sick soldiers. The'appca! comes to us through the Governor, rind surely we can get a dozen girls to come and work at it. The Scouts ore a great help every Saturday, and Ihe workers at the shop are very grateful to them for their help.
