THE CULT OF HATE.

Vorwaerts publishes the following: In the Munc-hener Mediziischen Wochenscrift, a medical councillor, Dr. W. Fuchs, Physician of the Baden Lunatic Asylum, Eminingdingen, writes against the pessimists literally as follows: "No one can escape the logical deduction that peace would be a catastrophe, that war is the only remaining possibility. War, thi s reaction on attraction, honour, means to an end, is now to ge regarded as an end in itself. The entire nation to a man must demand eternal war." In a pamphlet written by the same author the concluding words are: "Education towards hatred! Education towards a love of hatred! Organisation of hate! Away with the immature and false shame regarding brutality and fanaticism! The words of Marinelle, (the futurist) hold good also in politics: "More slaps on the face, less kissing." We ought not to hesitate to announce blasphemously: "Given unto us are Faith, Hope 'and Hatred; but the greatest of these is Hatred.
