Messrs Dalgety Co., Palmerston North, report having had a fair yarding of sheep and cattle at thei Taihape sale on Wednesday. 2nd August, wheitf everything changed hands at satisfactory prices:—Sheep: Good mixed lambs 22/-, small mixed lambs 14/0, 2-tooth wethers 29/1, f. and f. wethers 32/8, Cattle: Fat steers £l3 year steers £lO I/-, forward cowsuf® 35/-, yearlings £3 8/-.
