POLITICAL SCANDAL.
ALLEGED SELLING OF A SEAT. ADELAIDE, July 30. There was a heated scene in the Asread a document alleging that when Mr Peake (Leader of the Opposition) was defeated at last election, Mr McDonald, (member for Alexandra) asked. £IOOO for resigning his seat in favour of Mr Peake, hut ultimately agreed tc - accept £250 per annum for three years and certain out of pocket expenses. The Liberals strongly resented the allegation. F*
