NEW GERMAN LINERS
800.000 TONB READY FOR THE END OF THE WAR The German shipping companies arte preparing for the end of the war, and it is stated at Hamburg that they have 800.000 tons of new ships ready to be employed directly peace is declared.
The Hamburg-America and the 'North Lloyd yards ano working day and night Turning out liners for the American :and South American services. Among the new liners are the Bisi march, Cap Polonio, Admiral Tirpitz, Burgermeister, Oswald, Bouchard, Hindenburg, Zeppelin, Munchen. The first five belong to the Amerika' Line, the others to the North German Lloyd. Th e Bismarck is the largest liner in the world. The smaller companies are also working their utmost, the German Government placing unlimited funds at their disposal.
