(Received 9.40) LONDON, Julp 26 Mr Washburn, writing from the south west Russian front on the 24th, stated that despite the rain and heavy roads, operations at Lutsk and Brody that commenced on the 21st resulted in advances everywhere. Operations south west of Lutsk are wrecking the carefully prepared Austro-Germau plans for attacking in that region. •* At Michailovka the Russians have forced the enemy hack eight miles and captured one hundred and fifty thousand prisoners and one hundred thousand shells. The Russians captured thirty thousand prisoners and forty guns in eight days.
