, ' FETROGRAD, July 20. We Lave' occupied the town of Kugi, an important junction of roads from Erzeroum, Lhaputi, and Khzindjtha. The Turks, in great force, commenced an advance on the 17th in the direction of Mosul, and our detachment retreated to a new position. We dispersed considerable bodies of Persian nomads near Ispahan.
