HUSBAND’S TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. (United Pi ■oss Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day Upon returning to his home at Eavensbourne at 9.50 last night, from Port Chalmers, Geo. Anderson, carpenter, found his house locked up. On effecting an entrance he discovered his wife, Thomasina Anderson, aged 36, Iving in, a passage, apparently having been burned to death. The fire from her burning garments had burned through •the oilcoth and also through a board an inch thick where she ay. It is believed the fatality is the result of mental illness. Bank books and gold articles were found burnt in the fireplace.
