i The presence of a talented palmiste, j Madame Bouvais, at the Rangitikei A. I and P. Association Show, is creating i great interest. Madame B'ouvais, in. ! response to the request of a local mem- ! ber of the Red Cross Society, kindly i consented to stay in Taihape for the | Show, and read people's hands, the i whole of the gross proceeds to go to • the Society's funds. For the small | sum of one shilling, people visiting the I Show will be able to have their hands | read by an expert. The drawing for the -horse given by | Mr Brady in the late Queen Carnival, j in the interests of Miss Forde's candidature has been rendered impracticI able, a s the whole of the ticket butts j-have disappeared. It they j would come to light when papers and I documents were sorted for destruction, but there is now no hope of being able I to hold a drawing that would be fair i !to all ticket-holders. Miss Forde's Ma-*?' taroa Committee has therefore decided !to hand money back to any holders J who want it. The horse i s to be sold land the money handed to the Res$ v - Cross Society.
