SIR DOUGLAS HAIG’S REPORT.

LONDON, July 15. General Haig reports: All well on the British front. At one point we forced back the enemy to his third system of defence, more than four miles to the rear of his original front trenches opposite Fricourt and Mameta. During twenty-four hours we captured over 2000 prisoners. The British total exceeds 10,000 prisoners and large quantities of material.
