Received July 1 'l. 12.45 a.in. NEW YORK, July 13. Edward Johnson lias returned to America. He says the conditions in Germany are terrible. There are hundreds of thousands of widows in Berlin. There have been two attempts on the Kaiser’s life since February. Johnson was imprisoned for 22 months. He says he would, have been starved to death if he had nor. received private supplies.
