' WINTER SHOW. The fifth Annual Winter Show of the Rangitikei Agricultural and Pastoral Association will be held in the Taihape Town Hall on Wednesday and Thursday next, and promises to be very successful. The entrii.es, which closed on Wednesday, are very good. Following are Hie entries? in the various divisions:' — Poultry 271 Field Roots 154 Home Industries 301 There were 323, 1.82, and 218 respectively in these classes fast year, so that this year shows an increase of two in the total entries. Railway excursion fares have been anranged for passenger- .ravelling from Marton and intermediate stations and Ohakune and intermediate stations, and it is expected that there will be a very large attendance, especially in view of the fact that the net proceeds are to be devoted to the Patriotne Funds. On Wednesday the sb jw will be open from 1.0 p.m. to 0.30 p.m„ and on Thursday from 11.0 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. The prices of admission for adults has been fixed at on e sih'Lg and for children at sixpence.
