DISCUSSION IN PARLIAMENT,
London, June 29
Bir Edward Grey, iu acknowledging ihe report of Mr. Gerard (American Ambassador) on the prison camp at Trtruenbrietzen, considers the allowance of tlllounces of meat weekly, supplementeii by some sausage, is entirely inadequate in cases where men are performing manual labor. > Mr. Asquitli, in the House of Commons,, said the Home Office Committee had been appointed to determine the work whereto genuine conscientious objectors should be put. Those who used their conscience as a cloak ought to be treated with the utmost rigor. The genuine objector who understood national work would not bo subject to military discipline. Mr. Ascfdith refused to be dntwn as to whether two of his colleagues had resigned.
