In connection with the shearers' demand for increased rates, the council of the Pastoratlists’ Union decided to strictly adhere to the award rates, under which the bulk of the agreements in New South Wales have already been signed. It is stated that only a small section is demanding concessions above the award, and that in opposition to the policy of the Australian Workers’ Unions.
