LIEBKNECHT’S FATE.
TWO AND A HALF YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT. AND DISMISSED FROM THE ARMY Received S-30 p.m., June 29. LONDON, June 29.
A Berlin message says that Herr Liebknecht was sentenced to 2% years’ servitude and dismissal from the army for attempted high treason, gross insubordination, and resistance to tire authorities. The court sentenced him to the lowest penalty admissible, believing that Liebknecht was not guided by dishonest feeling but by political fanaticism.
