TO CATTLEMEN.
RAT JEN ’8 COW-LIC. It has time and again been mentioned that this or that cow has developed strange habits, the result of the growth of a depraved appetite. Of course there is a good and scientific reason for this; the cow simply craves for something her ordinary feed does not; A furnish at all, or else not in sufficient ’ quantity. If this craving is not attended to it will he found that animals so affected weaken and become ‘/.able to tuberculosis, abortion, redwater and other complaints. Ratjcn’s Cow-lie cheaply furnishes just what the cow with the depraved appetite needs,i and if animals not affected are given access to this lick there is very little chance of their health being affected in any way. They feed better and their flow of milk largely increases. Alongside the stock sales column is a notification from Charles Ratjeu, Ltd., agricultural and manufacturing chemists, Auckland, which states that Messrs McLaughlSn Bros, have been appointed sellers this famous Cow-lic; it also strongly recommends all dairymen to give theif herds the benefit of so valuable a pre* paration.
