At the Supreme Court the National Cash Register Company claimed from C. M. Ross and Company, Palmerston, the sum of £1206 for alleged breach of contract to complete the purchase of certain registers. After a lengthy hearing, the jury returned a verdict for £6OO. Leave was granted to move for a new trial.
