Received S-4 5 p.m., June 20. SYDNEY. June 20. The Government Statistician’s estimate of the population of New South Wales at Dec. 31st last is 1,686,200, an increase during the year of 6615. The excess of births over deaths was 22,725. The birth-rate was 2.5 below the average of the previous five years. Illegitimate births averaged 5i per 1000
