The Teachers’ Appellate Court has upheld the appeal of Mr. Bowater, head teacher of the Gonville school, against his transfer by the Wanganui Education Board to Queen’s Park, with costs against the Board. FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT.. 4 A MAN RUN OVER. WELLINGTON, this day. Victor Scoullar, taxi cab driver, in attempting to board a motor lorry while in motion in Taranaki Street, last night, slipped and the lorry passed over his body, severely crushing hi s chest. He died before a doctor; arrived.
