AMUSEMENTS.

Two special star pictures will occupy flip screen to-night, first “The Avenging Hand,” the story is briefly: Professor Newby, an explorer, discovers the hand of an Egyptian Princess in an' excavated templo.H 0 takes it away and places it in a black box for safety. During his sleeping hours the spirit of the princess rises from the tomb and enters the tent of the professorate wakes up, having dreamt that theVPrincess had disturbed his slumbers: he returns I to bed. The box is scon to open and * write a message -on the canvas of his tent. The picture shows what happened rafter. “One Perfomance Only” is the second star, and is also a 3000 feet drama. The story of a priceless necklace, and is a fine detective subject. There ar e other pictures on the programme, and the whole is a really first class programme, ~ .
