GOLF.
The golf season in Taihape is now in full swing, the first competition being commenced last week. Owing to unfavourable weather the last two Thursdays this competition is still unfinished, but drawings were made last night for the Senior Stroke —Hesketh plays Eyan; Bray plays Kclsall; Garratt plays Beban; Andrews plays PowelLNeagle Champion; Todd plays Fram; AA’tGvJman a bve.
Junior Stroke —Collinson plays James;Gardner plays O’Keefe; Dashwood play AVason; Plummer plays Drayton. Ladies’ Stroke—Mrs Ehodes plays Miss Stanley; Miss Spooner plays Miss Broughton; Mrs Garratt plavs Miss \ * Bromner; Miss- Little plays Miss McDonnell; Mrs Powell plays Miss McLauglilnn; Miss Kennedy plays MissMcWhirter; Mrs Ncagle a bye.
