THE BATTLE IN NO WISE ENDED. BASIS, May 27. Semi-official: An essential fact of the battle of Verdun during the last few days lias bees the employment of five German divisions taken from the reserves at the Somme, and the attacks at V i my. There was intense artillery activity all night on both sides throughout the region northward of Verdun.
