LONDON,, May 22. The following has been received from Mesopotamia:—We are clear of the enemy as far as the Shaft Ed Hai, except small rearguards covering the Hai bridge 500 yards below the juntion with the Tigris, Our main force on this side reached the line Magissis Dujaidah. The enemy is reported to be still ■occupying the Sannayist position. The weather is intensely hot, the temperature during the last few days being over 100 in the shade.
